did i seriously just do that?

Do you ever have one of those moments when you are like "oh my gosh, I used to HATE when people did that...did I really just do that??"

Well, that happens to me a lot. I definitely think I say it more often now that I'm a parent.

Here's the back story...I used to be a waitress/bartender for about 3 years during college.

Just kidding, it was nothing like that. 

Anyways, during the day we would sometimes have families come in for lunch or dinner. I would get so annoyed when we were really busy and a parent would ask their kid what they want to eat. "tell her what you want..go ahead....what do you want?...okay honey say please...say thank you.." and I was all like...

Well guys, I did that today. :|

The restaurant wasn't busy or anything but I made the poor waitress stand there while I asked my 2.5 year old kid to tell her what he wanted. I'm horrified. I know it probably doesn't seem like that big of deal to anyone else but it was just one of those things I realized after I did it and then was annoyed with myself.

 Jeeze - I bet I won't do that again.
